Character, Sidekick, Vehicle

In the distant future, the world has gone through several more baby booms, resulting in unbelievable overpopulation. Fetus boy is a mutated baby living in the stomach of a homeless woman trying to sell him for "snarf," a ridiculous drug invented in 2048. The mutant baby escapes the womb while at the abortion clinic, takes over a prototype robot constructed for the Hulk in The Avengers 549. In his angst, he turns to metal and hardcore music, but his childish mindset becomes exemplified through his pet koala, Victor, that he stole from the San Diego zoo. He also stole a movie prop of a giant sabre tooth tiger's skull and rigged it into a functional submarine, looking to solve the world's overpopulation problem.

Character, Sidekick, Vehicle (initial phase)

Here's some rough concepts, initial sketches, and references for my third to last assignment for my Characters and Environments class.

The Koala's name is Victor, the fetus is angry about nearly being aborted, I'll put the longer version of my story on my final post for this WIP.

Four Costumes

For this assignment I was given "Victorian Warrior"and had to create 4 different costumes to one character, a past, present day, future, and halloween costume.

I had some fun designing how the future costume's sword would work.
My Victorian Warrior's name is Dorothy Wells, a close relative to H.G. Wells, she travels through time, serving as an intergalactic assassin to keep the secret behind time travel and quantum physics a secret.

Expressions

This week's assignment (for myself) was to create a farrier character and make nine expressions or emotions out of him.
As it turns out, my great grandfather was a farrier and blacksmith, so this assignment became a little personal and a little more enjoyable.

Environment Thumbnails

For this project, I was required to create six thumbnails of lighthouse scenes and six of tree or hut scenes. From then, I needed to add inner details into two thumbnails, I decided to do four since some of the ones I enjoyed the most stretched the ideas of a lighthouse or forest.

Three Styles

This project's goal was to create a young, Turkish scientist, render him in three different styles and give him a nice story. Let's hope this went well!

My character is Aydin Demir, "Aydin" means "Enlightened" and "Demir" means "Iron". The essence of Aydin is his unique perspective and physical endurance.
Aydin Demir is a 19 year old scientific prodigy who formed a theory that others don’t feel so akin to. He believes that some recently unexplainable diseases can only be cured through samples of preserved bacteria in sealed tombs around the world. He'll make his way in one way or another, whether it is by brute force or cunning intelligence.

Zodiac Characters

A project from my Environments and Characters class. I was assigned the zodiac sign of the Monkey, in which I was supposed to research characteristics of this sign (mischief, cleverness, curiosity, etc.) and use them to make silhouettes of human and animal-like characters. I then chose two of my most appealing silhouettes, revised them, and turned them into a final paint with a little bit of backstory.

Self Portrait and Shape Sheets

An assignment from Characters and Environments in which I had to compile three sheets of characters based on different shapes made arbitrarily using Photoshop's lasso tool.
